on may 18, 2026, the holcim coal mill project in bangladesh was successfully put into operation, marking the successful completion of the project construction.
the project has officially started installation and construction since december 2025. it has a short construction period, heavy tasks, and high standards. it also faces multiple challenges such as high temperature and rainfall in bangladesh, difficulty in material allocation, and complex construction coordination. since the start of construction, the project team has adhered to "strive for excellence and overcome difficulties" with the construction concept, scientifically coordinate the construction plan, optimize resource allocation, all participating personnel take root on the front line, work day and night, strictly control the three core barriers of safety, quality and progress. all construction links pass the acceptance at one time, efficiently promoting various construction tasks.
at present, the equipment is running stably, and all process indicators have reached design standards and industry specifications, which has been highly recognized by the owner and supervision unit.
